About Elvis Calcano
Author • Storyteller • Caribbean History Enthusiast
Elvis Calcano is the creator and author of the Pirate Tales Saga, a historical fantasy adventure series that blends Caribbean history, pirate folklore, Taíno mythology, supernatural mysteries, and epic sea voyages.
The Pirate Tales universe began its journey in 2019, when the original manuscript was formally registered under the title Pirate Tale. Since then, the project has expanded into a growing multi-book saga exploring the hidden legends, forgotten kingdoms, cursed waters, and untold histories of the Caribbean.
Why Pirate Tales?
The Caribbean is one of the most fascinating regions in world history.
Long before modern tourism and cruise ships, these waters were home to Taíno kingdoms, Spanish conquistadors, privateers, pirates, hidden settlements, lost treasures, and countless legends that still survive today.
The Pirate Tales Saga was created to capture that spirit of adventure while weaving together historical inspiration and imaginative storytelling.
Readers will discover:
- Pirate captains and sea battles
- Ancient Taíno legends
- Colonial Caribbean intrigue
- Lost treasures and forgotten maps
- Haunted islands and supernatural mysteries
- Dangerous voyages across uncharted waters
